Each lasting approximately three minutes, these chorale preludes are useful as recital repertoire, as well as preludes, offertories, and postludes for church services. Each piece includes a brief history of the source tune, along with a list of the most familiar hymns that use it.

Authorization is given to substitute an appropriate hymn title for the tune name on programs and church bulletins.

Since I am not an organist myself, and most organs are just as unique as their players anyway, registration and manual choices are mostly left up to the performer.

Each chorale prelude in the collection is also available individually. Ordering information and individudal recordings are linked below, along with the name of the hymn most commonly associated with each tune.
