This is a difficult work, with a 3-octave range, which provides a stimulating challenge for advanced flutists. Its two movements employ sonata forms, albeit with ambiguous tonality, and are connected without pause.

One of my signature chamber music compositions, Soliloquy and Rondo is scheduled to be performed in New York's famous Carnegie Hall in January 2025.

Geared for second year flute students, this arrangement of one of Chopin's most popular compositions is transposed up a semitone from the original E major to the more beginner-friendly key of F major. Chopin himself is said to have considered this to be his loveliest melody.The entire duet can be played from the score without turning a page, so individual parts are not needed.
